He is responsible for affairs of Islam in KZN Province, He has a team of Committee members comprised of:
- Mufti of KZN Province
- Deputy Mufti of KZN
- Secretary
- Head of Imams of Muadhins
- Regional Representatives ( Municipal Qadhi or District Qadhi)
- Town Representatives
