ADhiya
Adhiya is sacred offering and slaughtering of animals for sacrifice to Allah Subhanahu Wataala that begins immediately after special prayers of Eid-Al-Adhiya in commemoration of Nabi Ibrahim aleih salaam when he slaughtered a sheep from Allah Subhanahu Wataala brought by Angel our Master Sayidina Jibrael aleih salaam as a ransom to save his son Nabi Ismael aleih salaam when he intended to slaughter him as sacrifice he offered to Allah Subhanahu Wataala.
So Allah Subhanahu Wataala ordered believers who follow Nabi Ibrahim aleih salaam to imitate him by Slaughtering animals as sacred sacrifice offered to Allah Subhanahu Wataala every year starting immediately after prayers of Eid Al-Adhiya and last for next three days.Only in those specific days Adhiya can be slaughtered.
