The South African Bureau of Halaal Standards (SABHS) Authorize issuance of Halaal Status to a Business according to the following classification of businesses for registration and inspection purposes:
- HP01 These are Halaal Providers dealing in business of fast foods such as takeaways, Restaurants.
- HP02 These are Halaal Providers dealing in Business of services as Transport , Hotel.
- HP03 These Halaal Providers dealing in Business of Producing Parked Cosmetics.
- HP04 These are Halaal Providers dealing Business of producing Parked Drinks. This Includes Water, Juices, etc.
- HP05 These are Halaal Providers dealing in Business of producing Packed Foods. This Includes Parked Meat, Meat products like sausages, etc.
- HP06 These are Halal Providers dealing in business of Producing medicines or Drugs.
- HP07 These are Halaal Providers dealing in business of Financial services. this includes loans, credits, Funeral covers, insurgence covers,
- HP08 These are Halaal Providers dealing with Slaughter Houses for Animals and birds slaughtering.
- CHC20 These are business dealers in Venue Hiring
- CHC21 These are business dealers in home based Functions such as weddings, funerals, gatherings, etc.
- CHC22 These are business dealers in public events and gatherings such as Government gatherings, Fundraising , competitions, etc
